I am directed to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 14th of November regarding your claim No. 12352A(a) to payment of £507. 6. id. compensation in respect of pharmaceutical goods lost in Hong Kong during its occupation by Japanese forces.

2. In reply I am to inform you that no decision has been reached regarding individual claims on Japanese assets in Hong Kong.
